We have been using it for a few weeks, as we told you recently in the analysis, but we were also able to analyze it together with the Pixel 6a, a phone that we have talked about from time to time because it is de facto the reference of the mid-range become.
In this article we are going to compare the two products as they are direct rivals while the Pixel 6a is still on sale. Of course we are going to do it from the perspective of the average user of these mobiles, the one who wants a competent terminal but does not care about the specifications, and who appreciates the camera above all.

The same thing happens at night, with more detail in the Pixel 7a, but not enough to warrant a move from one phone to another.
As for the front video, we loved both, favoring single shots in one case and those of the other model in the other.
The rear video is better on the Pixel 7a, through the stabilization, the recording speed, the sound… It’s not a drastic change, but if you care about this, we can say that the change is visible.

As we can see, the main problem with the Pixel 7a is its predecessor, which comes at a much lower price. If the price difference was the $50 we see in the two original PVPs, the Pixel 7a is clearly a better option due to the extra year of updates, face unlock, wireless charging…
But for a difference of 150 euros, the Pixel 6a is the best option in terms of quality / price.
Of course, the price of the Pixel 6a in 2023 on its official website is 409 euros, only 100 euros below the Pixel 7a.
